Born2Bond™ Structural
Born2Bond Structural is a unique 2-part hybrid adhesive specifically designed for production operations.
It is a strong adhesive that can be used on many substrates, including plastics and metals. However, its most remarkable property is its open time of 25 minutes, combined with a very high strength once the parts are assembled. What does this mean to you? Born2Bond Structural can remain in the static mixer for the full 25 minutes and be deposited at any time, avoiding any change of mixer and any waste of product. But once the parts are assembled, Born2Bond Structural reaches an impressive 6 MPa in 5 minutes. This makes it an excellent choice for assembly on production lines, as an intermediate or final bonding solution. It is often used manually but can also be automated.
