RIM
The technique of "RIM" or "Reaction Injection Molding", allows to quickly obtain a pre-series (between 50 and 1000 parts depending on the geometry of the parts).
The principle consists of injecting resin into a closed rigid mold (in resin or metal) or semi-rigid (silicone mold + screed) and under low pressure (<0.5 MPa).
RIM is a real alternative to thermoplastic injection for the molding of plastic parts and more economical in terms of investment in tooling.
