How to lubricate gears?

The lubrication of open crane gears, planetary gears, portable tools, gear wheels, drive shaft pinions requires specific greases. Gear teeth must be protected from wear by lubricants resistant to the load and adhesive enough not to be centrifuged.

In the case of closed gears (high speed) of geared motors, the gear oils also dissipate the heat from the contacts. In addition, the composition of the gear oils for gearboxes Molykote™ includes : Pure oils with a very high resistance to oxidation, patented antioxidants with a much longer service life than traditional oils, additives, etc., which are used in the production of gear oils.

phosphorus-based anti-wear agent that is non-corrosive to metals. The result is a low tendency to emulsification, high lubricating film strength and high endurance at high temperatures

SAMARO offers gear oils with different viscosities from 150 cSt to 460 cSt.
