AIRTECH TEFLEASE MG2

Applications

The TEFLEASE MG2 from Airtech is a high temperature self-releasing PTFE tape with a silicone adhesive that allows us to locally protect areas of resin aggression. They are recommended for applications on surfaces or a large élongation and demoulding are required. Teflease MG ribbons can be used as a semi-permanent release film on cooked Airpad tool rubbers and on pressure intensifiers and mandrels such as the Aircast 3700.

Property

Airtech TEFLEASE MG2 ribbons are made of PTFE with silicone adhesive. They offer good élongation (125%) and good temperature resistance. They make it possible to obtain a release surface thanks to the PTFE support.
