VOLTALEF

Chlorotrifluoroethylene polymer or PCTFE is one of the oldest fluoropolymers manufactured industrially. ARKEMA has been manufacturing VOLTALEF® PCTFE for over forty years.
They have a unique combination of properties :
- thermal stability up to + 250°C ;
- excellent chemical resistance properties
- non-flammability;
- low thermal conductivity;
- excellent characteristics under high load, can be used as additives in oils used at high pressure;
- density around 2;
Due to its very special properties, VOLTALEF® PCTFE products have become irreplaceable for specific applications such as
- Lubricants for compressors operating with oxygen;
- hydraulic fluids
- fluids for pumps;
- shock absorbing fluids;
- heat exchanger fluids;
