AIRTECH TEFLEASE MG2A

The TEFLEASE MG2A from Airtech is the non-silicone adhesive version of the TEFLEASE MG2. It is a high temperature self-releasing tape allowing to protect local areas of aggression resins. They are recommended for applications on surfaces or a large élongation and demoulding are required. Teflease MG ribbons can be used as a semi-permanent release film on cooked Airpad tool rubbers and on pressure intensifiers and mandrels such as the Aircast 3700. They are recommended where silicone adhesives are not allowed.

Airtech TEFLEASE MG2A tapes are made of PTFE with a acrylic adhesive. They offer good élongation (125%) and good temperature resistance. They make it possible to obtain a release surface thanks to the PTFE support.
