CVC5 is intended for use where ultra high vacuum conditions are required . UHV characteristics particulary useful for thin film, surface technology, thermonuclear and plsama physics applications as well as electron microscopes . Extreme stability and high spontaneous ignition temperature make it ideal for use in sapce-simualtion chambers . Low vapour pressure and low back streaming rate make cold and refrigeration traps unnecessary for pressures in the 10e-8 Torr range
CVC5 is a Silicone Diffusion Pump Fluid. Pentaphenyltrimethyl trisiloxane rich fluid for producing ultra high vacuums in the range 10e-9 Torr - 10e-11. Exhibits excellent chemical, oxidation, thermal, hydrolysis and radiation resistance. Extremely low back streaming properties.
