DILSILPATE-V is a two-component, polyaddition (base and catalyst) RTV silicone that cures at room temperature. It is supplied as a two-component paste that must be mixed. It is non-stick.

DILSILPATE-V is used for mold making (for rapid reproduction). It is a simple method for making molds and casting a wide variety of objects.

Property

DILSILPATE-V consists of a base and a catalyst. The mixing ratio is 1:1 between the base and the catalyst, either by weight or volume. Once the ingredients are weighed in equal quantities, mix vigorously until a uniform color is achieved. Hardening occurs in 12 minutes at 23°C.

The working time (TT, see table below), also known as "Pot-Life," corresponds to the recommended mixing time.
