EPIBOND 8543 C / B is a very fast setting epoxy adhesive for rapid repair and bonding applications even at low temperatures. EPIBOND 8543 C / B allows handling of the parts 10 min after bonding at 25°C, and will develop strong adhesion after 1 hour. EPIBOND 8543 C / B is qualified BMS 5-123, TYPE1, Class3.

Color: Gray / Viscosity: Paste (Resin: 200,000 mPa.s - Hardener: 235,000 mPa.s) / Density: 1.25 (Resin: 1.25 - Hardener: 1.3) / Gel-Time: 3 min (on 20 g at 25°C) / Typical Cure Cycles: 30 -60 to 23°C or 1-2h at 7 ° C or 1h at 70 ° C / Shear tensile strength: 14.5 MPa at -55 ° C ; 13.8MPa at 25°C; 3.4 MPa at 83°C / Qualified according to BMS 5-123, Type 1, Class 3.

EPIBOND 8543 C / B is a very fast setting structural adhesive (GelTime: 3 min at 25°C). It is recommended to post-bake the bonding at high temperature (70°C) to reach full mechanical properties. This glue has a mixing ratio of 1/1 and the two parts of EPIBOND 8543 C / B glue have a very distinct color, which allows easy control of the mixture.
