EPOCAST 1614-A1 – BMS 5-28, TY14, CL1, REV AN –

Epocast® 1614-A1 is a low-density, one-component structural syntactic epoxy specifically formulated to meet the demanding requirements of the aerospace industry. Supplied frozen and ready for use after thawing, it offers excellent compressive strength (up to 100 MPa) and outstanding thermal stability up to 177 °C (350°F). Qualified to BMS 5-28 Type 14, it is ideally suited for honeycomb composite structures where lightweight performance, durability, and mechanical integrity are critical. Its technical properties make it a reliable solution for:

• Filling honeycomb core structures

• Reinforcing sandwich panel edges

• Potting inserts and fasteners in composite assemblies

• Bonding lightweight components exposed to high mechanical stress
