Huntsman EPOCAST 1645 FR A / B is a very low density syntactic paste (0.45 - 0.48). It is used for edging, densification or structural reinforcement sandwich panels. Intended for aeronautical applications, the EPOCAST 1645 FR A / B Meets BMS 5-28 Type 9 Requirements. Flame Retardant: Meets FAR 25.853a Requirements and is "flame retardant" Meets FAR 25.853a Requirements - SPECIF HUNTSMAN : HUN00150

Color: White / Viscosity: Pasty (1645 FR A: Pasty -1645 FR B: Pasty) / Density: 0,45 - 0,48 / Gel-Time: 65 min (at 25°C) / Sandable time : 10g 4-5h ; 100g 70-80h / Self-extinguishing time (12s vertical) FAR 25.853 : < 2s / Compressive module: 190 KPa at 23°C / Compressive stregth : 19,7MPa à 23°C / Insert pull-out strength : 1,8kN / lap shear strength: 7,9 MPa at 23°C (afters 3h curing at 52°C).

Both parts A and B of the Huntsman EPOCAST 1645 FR are neither sticky nor messy; they are easily mixed by hand and cleaned with water after use. With a mixing ratio of 1/1, the EPOCAST 1645 FR A / B quickly takes up to room temperature and sands easily.
