Epocast® 1652-A/B is a two-component epoxy syntactic compound, specifically designed for structural reinforcement and cavity filling in composite and metal assemblies. Its thick paste consistency makes it ideal for applying in complex areas such as core sections, corners, radii, and joints. This lightweight material provides excellent compressive strength, including at low temperatures, and maintains good thermal performance after room-temperature cure or post-curing.

It is particularly suited for:

• Filling honeycomb or metal core structures

• Reinforcing edges, corners, and transition areas in composite parts

• Adding rigidity to fabricated components like helicopter rotor blades

• Aerospace applications requiring compliance with:

  • Grumman GM 4006

  • Gulfstream GMS 4005

  • Sikorsky 9587, Type 2
