The Araldite® AV 138M-2/HV 998-1 system is the non-CMR reformulation of ARALDITE® AV 138M-1/HV 998-1, a two-component epoxy adhesive curing at room temperature.

Once fully cured, the adhesive exhibits excellent performance at elevated temperatures and offers high resistance to chemicals.

It is suitable for bonding a wide variety of metals, ceramics, glass, rubbers, rigid plastics and other materials, and is widely used in many industrial applications where resistance to aggressive environments or high temperatures is required.

Its low outgassing makes it particularly suitable for electronic and aerospace applications.

Araldite® AV 138M-2 is grey in colour / Mix ratio: 10:4 / Service temperature: -60 to 160 °C / Density: 1.7 / Viscosity: Thixotropic / In combination with hardener HV 998: Lap shear strength: 15 MPa / Pot life: 75 min.

Araldite® AV 138M-2 offers low outgassing and volatile losses, excellent chemical resistance, temperature resistance up to 160 °C, and a non-sag thixotropic paste consistency suitable for vertical surfaces.
