Perlite : DICAPERL HP525

Dicalite® perlite, also known as "Dicaperl®," is an ultra-lightweight hollow glass microsphere. Compatible with most resins.

Dicaperl® HP-525 is a family of lightweight, hollow glass bead fillers.

Dicaperl® HP-525 is a highly cost-effective density-reducing filler for any resin/binder system.

The fine, unmodified particle grades of Dicaperl® are highly effective as thickening and anti-sag additives in specialty coatings.

The name Dicaperl comes from the contraction of Dicalite and Perlite.

Dicalite perlite is a silica sand of volcanic origin that is expanded by high heat treatment (1200°C).

Dicaperl® silane-modified functional fillers significantly reduce weight, reduce shrinkage, and improve the impact, nailing, stapling, and sanding properties of molded parts. The finest grades are used in RP/Composites, including glass fiber-reinforced products formed by spray-forming and hand-laminating processes, where surface detail is essential. The coarsest grades are used in castings or molded parts that do not require an ultra-fine surface finish.
