RELEASE PLY B

Airtech's Release Ply B is an UNCOATED nylon peel ply fabric with the tightest weave, giving the surface a very fine texture.

Peel plies, such as Airtech's Release Ply B, are used to texture the surface of a composite part to facilitate bonding or painting operations.

The use of Release Ply can reduce or even eliminate the need for sanding or mechanical abrasion.

Release Ply B is degreased and heat-set to remove any impurities and minimize shrinkage.

• Peel fabrics are removed from polymerized laminates leaving a finely textured surface, which reduces the time spent on manual finishing.

• Less time spent sanding for secondary bonding or painting.

• The fabric has undergone a stripping (cleaning) treatment aimed at reducing the need to remove contaminants from the surface of polymerized laminates.
