Acrystal® DECOR BRONZE

Designed for interior applications, Acrystal® Decor Bronze can also be installed outdoors after application of a paint or varnish topcoat (EX; Acrystal® Finition). Acrystal® Decor Bronze can be applied directly to any type of substrate (even polystyrene) by casting or spraying, and can be machined by hand or by numerical control. The Acrystal® Decor Bronze is used for: Architectural decoration, replicas, Models, scenography, museology. Can be weathered or oxidized in the same way as real metal.

Properties once hardened: Density: 2300kg / m3 / Pot-life: 8/10min / Time before demolding: 20 to 100min (depending on the thickness) / Compressive strength: 25/30 Mpa (after hoven curing ) / Expansion at the outlet: <0.1% / UV resistance: excellent.

Acrystal® Decor Bronze is a composite material consisting of two products: Acrystal® PRIMA liquid resin + Acrystal® Decor Bronze (powder based on natural mineral crystals and metal fillers). The two products mix at a height of 10/50 (10 Acrystal® Prima + 50 Acrystal® Decor Bronze). Acrystal® Decor Bronze is a non-toxic product (no risk phrases) and very low odor. It is a very simple resin to implement and emitting hardly any heat at the moment of the reaction (exothermy <45°C). Acrystal® allows a great variety of surface state and can be cleaned easily water (water as the only solvent). Acrystal® Decor Bronze is part of the "Acrystal® Decor Metal" range including the Acrystal® Decor Copper and the Acrystal® Decor Tin.
