Designed for interior applications, the Acrystal® designs can also be placed outdoors after applying a paint or a varnish(EX; Acrystal® Finition). Acrystal® can be applied directly to any type of support (polystyrene...) by casting or spraying, and can be machined by hand or by CNC. Acrystal® is used for: Decoration, replicas, models, scenography, museology, art & crafts, models, molds, mold copings, prototype.
Caracteristics
Properties once hardened: Density: 1730kg / m3 /Pot-life: 8/10min / Time before demolding: 20 to 100min (depending on the thickness) / Flexural stress: 18 Mpa / Compressive strength: 25/30 Mpa (after hoven curing ) / Expansion at the outlet: <0.1% / Hardness: 81/83 ShD / UV resistance: excellent / Fire classification: M1 (F); B1 (D); IMO.
Property
Acrystal® is a white composite material consisting of two products: Acrystal® PRIMA liquid resin plus BASIC Crystal powder. Mix ratio 100/40 (100 Acrystal® Basic plus 40 Acrystal® Prima). Acrystal® is a non-toxic product (no risk phrases) and has a low odor level. It is a very simple resin to implement and emitting hardly any heat at the moment of the reaction (exothermy <45°C), Acrystal® allows a great variety of surface state and can be cleaned easily water (water as the only solvent).
